Dear Community

We hope you are all keeping warm and healthy as winter really starts to get icy.
We are so excited to announce that in July we will be introducing a range of whole food supplements and minerals from Rosita and Heart of Cultures.

Here is some information about each:

Rosita provides you with wild-caught, unprocessed, raw & sustainable fish liver oils fresh from the crystal-clear waters of Norway.

Their ethos is to work with nature to supply the highest quality health-giving oils available.

Rosita products are sustainably sourced from wild fish stocks in the pristine waters of Norway. Their flagship product, Rosita Extra-Virgin Cod Liver Oil (EVCLO) is a “living oil” derived from wild and abundant Norwegian codfish.

EVCLO is extracted from cod livers using traditional methods which do not require any heat or mechanical devices, so the delicate fatty acids found in this nutrient-dense fish oil are retained. Rosita focuses on delivering pure and undisturbed whole foods giving you the maximum health benefits provided by nature.

All their products are independently tested for purity and nutrient levels. These are natural variations in the level of nutrients, and they maintain full transparency across all testing of their products.

Heart of Cultures is a local, family-run business, passionate about procuring and producing whole food supplements that contain nutrients from REAL, LIVE foods that are in synergy with their co-factors and transporters.  No chemical solvents or high temperatures are used in production, making the supplements bioavailable and easily digestible and assimilative in the body - just as nature intended.  Their supplements are obtained from organic, ethically harvested sources and encapsulated by hand to ensure maximum benefits without the use of fillers, flow agents or synthetic preservatives.

Both Carla and Eira have personally taken supplements from both brands and can say that they love them.  Organ meats, or offal, is a true super food but sadly we have lost the art of preparing and cooking these meats.  Heart of Cultures Beef Liver capsules are a best seller and are a wonderful way of testing the waters with organ meat supplements.  Beef liver is a rich source of zinc, copper, selenium, vitamin A, and iron - all of which are essential for optimal health.  The magnesium supplements from Heart of Cultures are also wonderful and most of us are deficient in magnesium due to the poor state of our soils and our generally stressful lifestyles.  Cod liver oil is also an excellent source of vitamin A and D as well as Omega 3s and DHA.

We hope you find these brands as beneficial for your health as we have.

Kosher Customers: unfortunately, neither Heart of Cultures nor Rosita are certified Kosher. Heart of Cultures may be considered on a product by product basis as not every product is for ingesting, some are for topical application.

Regarding discounts on supplements, we want to let you know that due to consistency with supplier requirements, we are selling these products at their recommended retail price, complimentary to our discounted products range.

You'll find these products under the category “Body Care” under "Supplements and Oils" on the store.
