Refunds and Returns Policy

Effective Date: 1 October 2025

1. Your Right to Return (Cooling-Off Period)
In terms of section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002, you have the right to cancel your online purchase and return products within 7 days of receiving them, for any reason and without penalty.

Conditions:
 - Products must be returned within 7 days of receipt.
 - Products must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging with seals intact.
 - You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the products to us, unless the product is defective or incorrectly supplied.

2. Products That Cannot Be Returned
The following items are excluded from the 7-day cooling-off right and cannot be returned:

 - Cleaning or hygiene products that have been opened or unsealed.
 - Products that, by their nature, cannot be returned for health or hygiene reasons once opened.

3. Defective or Damaged Products
In terms of section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, if you receive a product that is defective, damaged, unsafe, or not what you ordered, please contact us at hello@cwco.co.za within 6 months of delivery.

You may choose to have the product:

Replaced, or

Refunded in full.

We will cover all return shipping costs for defective or incorrectly supplied items.

4. Refunds
Refunds will be processed as soon as reasonably possible, and within 30 days of receiving the returned item or your cancellation notice.
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
Where applicable, the direct cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund if you are returning a non-defective item.

5. Non-Availability and Delivery
If a product becomes unavailable after you place your order, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund within 30 days.
All refunds and replacements will be processed once we have received and inspected the returned items.
