This is a short sentence, but is one of the most difficult mountains to climb, because we have been affected, taught and programmed from the womb on how to fear, how to survive and how to conform to the agendas of various institutions, including our parents. Self-care involves dealing with all these past traumas and learning, step by step, how to take ownership of your health.
