How It Works

The unit is designed to mimic some of the natural processes water experiences in flowing streams and waterfalls.

As water passes through the structurer, it travels through two vortex chambers—one at the top and one at the bottom—creating a powerful swirling motion that encourages movement and oxygenation of the water. This vortexing action is configured according to Southern Hemisphere vortex design principles, with a clockwise rotational flow.

During this process, the water is naturally aerated as it moves through the unit. It then passes over specialised ceramic and glass media before flowing through the final stage, where it is exposed to a magnetic field generated by carefully positioned magnets.

The combination of vortexing, aeration, specialised media, and magnetic exposure is designed to recreate some of the conditions found in naturally flowing water, delivering a crisp, clean, refreshing drinking experience.

The Problem

Modern water treatment and distribution systems deliver safe drinking water, but the journey from treatment plant to tap is very different from the way water moves in nature.

In nature, water is constantly flowing, vortexing, interacting with minerals, and exposed to sunlight and natural energy sources. Researchers such as Gerald Pollack have proposed that under certain conditions water can form more ordered structures, sometimes referred to as "structured water" or Exclusion Zone (EZ) water.

Pollack's research suggests that this more ordered state of water may carry a negative charge and could play an important role in biological systems.
